Gibson ES-137 »Premier«

Coppertop, 2002

This guitar is probably the rarest that I have since there were only about 50 made in this remarkable color. The top changes its hues with every light source therefore this is a perfect stage guitar and very versatile in appearance and even in sound. The two P90 pickups complement the „Gold Top“ theme well and I even like to use the bridge pickup here once in a while. The neck is big and chunky and although it is a comparatively new guitar it has a nice vintage feel with some mojo. It is strung with gauge 0.13 flat wounds and can therefore easily go from Jazz to Rock.
