I heard many good things about „The Loar“ and when they made a guitar with a P90 pickup I immediately ordered one from Sweden. It had a spruce top and was very loud acoustically. It had nice and smooth open Grover tuners. Unfortunately the neck had an extremely pronounced V-shape that I could not get used to. Nevertheless it was a good travel companion, serving both acoustically and electrically. I am grateful that Gregor Hilden accepted it as part of the deal when I bought my ES-125 that does basically the same thing but is a Gibson Original.
Using the LH-309 during a holiday in Rome in 2014. The amplifier is a DV Mark Little Jazz.
